job description

We are currently looking for a Partner Assistant to support a globally recognized accounting firm in Quebec City. If hired you will work full-time hours on a 6 months assignment (with the possibility of perm), be paid $30 per hour.

● Develop and manage schedules on a daily basis, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetings, and book conference calls.
● Proficiently use Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint to compile reports, letters, presentations, charts and graphs as required from both written and dictated sources.
Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department.
Maintain departmental daily operational workflow. Sort and process incoming mail as appropriate.

Qualifications
• At least five years of experience in customer service or administration in a professional and dynamic service-oriented environment;
• Outstanding commitment to customer service and continuous improvement;
• Ability to manage highly confidential information; conciliation and discretion are essential in this position;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks according to their relative importance and urgency;
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and direction;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
•Attention to detail;
• Ability to make effective decisions;
• The ability to communicate with confidence and active listening are essential;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively within a team;
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for lifelong learning adapted to this role;
• Excellent knowledge of widely used software at the sector level such as Concur, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat;
• Bilingualism (English and French
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
