    Our Brampton client located at Kennedy and Orenda is currently hiring Full time Temporary to Permanent position of EXTRUDER OPERATORS to start ASAP in busy manufacturing. This position entails operating extruder machine and requires one year of experience. This is a great opportuntiy to grow in the company.

    12 hour rotating shifts (rotate every 4 weeks)

    Shift 1 – Days Monday to Thursday 7 am to 7 pm

    Shift 2 – Nights Wednesday to Saturday 7 pm to 7 am

    Shift 3 – Split Monday, Tuesday Nights 7 pm to 7 am, Friday and Saturday Days 7 am to 7 pm

    Responsibilities
    Job Description:

    - Ensure all lines are running without quality concerns at the beginning and throughout your shift.
    - Keep in contact, if need arises, with Lead Hand Operator, Packer and Production Supervisor when changes occur. (eg. colour changes, scrapping, etc.).
    - Make all quality checks as required. Finished products must match all quality standards assigned. (eg. Cosmetic, Functional, and Appearance etc.).
    - Assist in line changeovers including die removal and replacement.
    - Maintain housekeeping of your lines and workstation.
    - Light maintenance, minor repairs and adjustments to correct extrusion problems.
    - Participate in training as required by the company.
    - Adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures, including quality and health and safety.
    - Maintain a safe working environment

    Qualifications
    - Must have at least 1 year of extruder machine operator experience
    - One year of Manufacturing experience is required
    - Ability to work in a team-driven environment
    - Lifting up to 50 lbs required
    - follow instructions
    - Adhere to safe work practices
