    Are you a Fiber Optic Technician with at least 2 years of experience in working in the telecom servicing/installation industry?!

    The ideal candidate will have a valid drivers license and 2 years of driving experience. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of outside telecom fiber optic splicing (working on outdoor foscs and lines).

    Advantages

    Responsibilities
    Communicate with supervisor and dispatch regarding work status.
    Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fibre sites and links
    Documenting and reporting on work completed
    Maintaining project and safety documentation
    Inspecting fibre routes and hub sites as preventative maintenance
    Ensuring all attended sites are clearly labelled
    Locating faults and mobilizing resources within minimal time to counter fault

    Qualifications
    Overhead lifting, climbing & Carrying ladders with a weight of minimum 25 lbs to 75 lbs.
    Working in a confined space.
    Working in Inclement weather.
    Walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
    Valid driver's license with 2 years of driving experience and a good driving record.
    Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house.
    Due to safety reasons, maximum bodyweight restriction must not exceed 350 pounds.
    Good written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to drive company vehicle between warehouse, and worksites in a safe and courteous manner.
