Are you an experienced manufacturing or production worker? Do you enjoy working with your hands in a fast paced environment? Apply today for this contract to hire role in the Transcona area.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools and production/manufacturing. Must have a strong track record of attendance and reliability. This is a non-union environment with room for growth. The role will start as a term contract and a permanent role will be offered after approximately 3 months based on performance and attendance.

Duties include;
-assembly using hand tools
-using a filament winder to make fibreglass sleeves
-rolling fiberglass
-working in production/manufacturing to make plastic products
-lifting between 25-50lbs

-$14/hour

-During the term you will receive payment weekly via direct deposit, as well as 4% vacation pay on every cheque

Qualifications
-Must have strong track record of attendance and reliability
-Previous experience in fibreglass an asset
-Experience in manufacturing or production environment required
-Experience with hand tools
-Cannot be scent sensitive - strong odours in the plant due to the fibreglass
-Must be physically capable of prolonged standing and lifting up to 50lbs
-Steel toed shoes required
