Field Installation and service Technician

We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of experience installing and servicing CCTV, Access Control, Door operations, intercoms, pulling cable and physically fit.

This is a labour intensive position that may be inside and outside of commercial and residential buildings and parking structures.

Candidates are required to have a valid G license with access to a vehicle, a clean drivers abstract, and be able to pass a background check.
(Company vehicle provided after probationary period / Car allowance and km expense provided for personal vehicle)

Job Type: Permanent - Direct Hire

Job Title: SR Installation Technician

Pay Rate: $28 - $35/hr.
*Wage set by employer based on experience. May offer HIGHER rate for experienced candidate*

Shift: 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday to Friday

Travel area: GTA

Main Location: Queen St. E & Lower Coxwell Ave.

Responsibilities
- Servicing and installation of
● Access Control
● Telephone Entry systems/Intercoms
● Door Operations
● Elevators
● CCTV
● IT
- Pull cable and conduit
- Loading and maintaining tools and equipment

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a technician role
- Work experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to perform manual labour
- Valid Driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
- MUST have own vehicle (company car will be provided once available/ can expense km on personal car and receive car allowance)
- Comfortable working in all elements - projects can be outside or in underground parking garages
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs and pulling cable
- Technically and mechanically inclined
- Knowledge and experience with low voltage installation
