    We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Manager to cover the GTA Region! Our client, based in Markham, is looking to add a permanent to their team! If you are mechanically inclined and have some electrical knowledge and or experience then we would like to hear from you! The ideal candidate will also possess a customer service mentality to represent the company when dealing with its many customers.

    Responsibilities
    1. Organize administrative detail and service requirements in a manner that will ensure maximum
    efficiency and productivity.
    2. Supervise the Service Coordinator and the team of Service Technicians
    3. Consult and cooperate with sales management to resolve problem situations, develop new
    applications, and identify new business opportunities.
    4. Sell annual service maintenance agreements to increase the profitability of service and permit
    efficient scheduling.
    5. Review and analyze service reports to assist Engineering Department in identifying and solving
    technical problems with power strapping machines, and improving performance and design concepts
    6. Recruit and train new service representatives to ensure a qualified staff is available to service power
    equipment.
    7. Develop skills of service representatives and choose individuals for promotion to Service Engineer as
    manpower needs increase.
    8. Establish a budget and control operating expenses of the Service Region to ensure maximum
    profitability is achieved.

    Qualifications
    - 3-5 years of Supervisor or Managerial experience
    - Basic knowledge of PLC programming, hydraulic and pneumatic technology
    - Strong knowledge in the mechanical and electrical fields
    - High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service and repair equipment
    - Solid written and verbal communication skills
    - Ability to effectively use and read measuring instruments, such as multi-meter, amp meter, micrometers and calipers
    - Superb customer service skills with all levels of employees and customers
    - Ability to take initiative and work independently Have an Entrepreneurial spirit to drive profit
    - Problem solver and solution-oriented
    - Solid computer skills (MS Office Applications and Windows-based programs)
