We are seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager for a well established electrical power and control manufacturing client of ours in the Mississauga area.


Responsibilities:
-Take ownership, coordinate, and project manage delivery of service solutions for our installed based customers.
-Proactively support the sale of service solutions to the market. Including site review meetings, generation of proposals and associated costing.
-Coordinate service work scheduling and execution plans including engineering, materials, and field service.
-Provide product support including start-up, commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and installation of 480V – 36kV switchgear, ATS, circuit breakers and generator control systems
-Build, develop and maintaining exemplary customer and vendor relationships while maintaining a high level of quality and technical service.
-Provide technical training programs for customers and/orinternal employees on new and existing products.
-Accountable for the submission of project reports in a timely manner (Field Reports and Expenses)
-Successful and timely completion of assigned Field Service activities to meet customer functional requirements. (Commissioning, testing, preventative maintenance etc.)
-Local office liaison for customers, leadership, sales, engineering, purchasing, production and field service.
-Support Technical Call Desk for customers
-Execution of continuous improvements projects as assigned
-Understand, adhere to and ensure all corporate policies, including quality, and health and safety guidelines are followed


Qualifications:

-Associate’s or Technical degree in Electrical or Electronics or equivalent 10+ years of technical experience in the Power Generation Industry (or similar industry)
-5+ years of hands on experience installing, commissioning and troubleshooting electrical distribution systems including, LV and MV switchgear, ATSs, automation controls and back-up power systems
-Past Field Service work history with an OEM or reputable service company
-Responsible, self-motivated, exemplary work ethic, excellent time management and strong interpersonal skills
-Skilled and experienced with PC applications including Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics 365, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
-Experienced and well versed with maintenance, life cycle management, and aftermarket solutions for power system equipment and facility assets.
-Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and applications (Allen Bradley, GE Automation, Modicon, Omron, Wonderware, Indusoft, Red Lion, Advantech etc.)
-Advanced understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics, ladder logic programs & mechanical drawings
-Strong project management skills with excellent decision making, organization and supervisory capabilities
-Proficient in dealing with client interactions and completing projects on time and within budget guidelines
-Strong mechanical aptitude and able to use hand and power tools effectively
-Ability to work independently
