Our client, aleader in the insurance industry, is looking for a Filenet/Case Manager Software engineer to join their team for an initial 6 month contract.

Description:

Filenet/CaseManager Software Engineer to provide technical expertise to help develop IBM Filenet and CaseManager solutions.


Accountabilities:
• Develop scalable Filenet/CaseManager solutions
• Build maintainable, reusable and secure code using TDD principles
• Supporting & sharing best practice with team and internal developer community
• Work in Agile team (Scrum, Kanban) – estimate effort and work in team sprints


Requirements:

• 5 + years of development experience in building Filenet and Case Manager solutions
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of industry direction and trends within Web and Mobile application development
• Advanced knowledge of Java programming language, coding techniques, and standards
• Experience in applying Java (SE and EE) patterns
• Proven experience with Spring MVC Framework, Spring Core, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring WS
• Good experience in developing and consuming WS-I SOAP Web Services and REST Services
• Experience with JPA (Hibernate implementation)
• Strong working knowledge of Agile Software Architectures, GoF OO Software Design Patterns, Solution Architectures, Digital Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager), Graph/NoSQL databases and Test and Behaviour Driven Development.
• Negotiating, influencing, effectively challenging and gaining commitment
• Agile delivery experience (Scrum, Kanban)
• Source Code Management (GIT)


The successful candidate will ideally have a commercial experience in a number of the following areas:

• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, such as Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Maven), Code Analysis software (Sonarqube, Checkstyle, PMD).
• Good understanding of JEE Architecture and Design Patterns
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application server ver. 8.X, Liberty Profile, and Apache 2.2
• Knowledge of new emerging frameworks (NodeJS, .NET Core)
• Active in online developer community, contributor in Github
