Are you a finance professional with 2-3 years of experience supporting liquidity related activities? Are you familiar with various risk metrics and ratios such as LCR, NCCR, NSFR, and liquidity stress testing? Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop your skill sin a leading Canadian bank? If so we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst - Liquidity Solutions to support our client, one of Canada's big 5 banks, in their downtown Toronto office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 12 month assignment, and earn a rate competitive within the industry. As a Financial Analyst - Liquidity Solutions your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Support 1-2 projects and must understand the change requirement, identify and implement a solution
• Gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports
• Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions
• Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks

• Gain experience working for one of Canada's leading banks
• Work full time hours on a long term assignment (12 months)
• Earn a rate competitive within the industry
• Downtown Toronto location

• 2 - 3 years' experience in the Financial industry, preferably in a liquidity related role
• Previous SQL experience
• Good understanding of Treasury products and Capital Markets
• Engineering or finance education
• Experience with LCR, NCCF, NSFR, and liquidity stress testing **very strong nice to have**
• Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) experience is an asset
• Strong communication skills, able to manage difficult conversations
