Our Burlington area client is an industry leader and in need of a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The role will be reporting to the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities and duties will include the following:

Responsibilities
• Perform full-cycle accounting and prepare working papers for the quarter and year-end closings
• Prepare journal entries to record sales transactions
• Complete balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review and verify accuracy of interest expense charged on loans and investments
• Review and prepare reporting for insurance coverage
• Prepare and file the monthly HST returns
• Participate in process improvement projects

Qualifications
• CPA, CA, CMA, CGA (or close to completion)
• 3+ years of accounting and analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of ASPE would be an asset
• Comfortable with pivot tables and lookup functions in Microsoft Excel
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills
• Experience Sage 300 would be a plus
