Are you a finance and accounting professional with previous experience handling P2P related activities? Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop your skills in an engaging role? If so, we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to support our client, a leading Customers Brokerage, in their Etobicoke office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 6 month assignment, and earn a competitive rate within the industry. As a Financial Analyst your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Support FP&A Director and Procurement Director to determine target savings from various initiatives and track actuals to these targets, providing insightful variance analysis
• Support implementation of P2P system, including data entry and test cases
• Update the business cases for Procurement and World Class Back Office initiatives (using data from Hyperion system) and investigate variances to plan / target
• Prepare Procurement and World Class Back Office slides for Steering Committee deck
• Assist FP&A Director with production of Powerpoint deck for Steering Committee, including investigation of variances to plan. Will be required to provide coverage for vacations and peak times
• Actively seek and lead continuous improvement opportunities
• Assist with miscellaneous projects as and when required

• Gain experience working for an industry leading organization
• Full time hours on a 6 month assignment
• Earn a rate competitive within the industry
• Etobicoke ON location

• 3+ years of of previous relevant experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts - both post-secondary education in accounting or business and pursuing an accountancy designation is preferred
• Strong analytical skills including being able to identify key drivers of variances
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver on time with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including working knowledge of pivot-tables and graphs
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Word
• Working knowledge of Hyperion is an asset
