Are you a recent accounting or commerce graduate living in the Peterborough area with a few years of working experience in a finance environment? Have you been responsible for handling financial analysis and reporting activities? Do you have strong technical skills, including experience with Advanced MS Excel? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Financial Analysis to support our client, a leading multinational manufacturing and engineering firm, in their Peterborough office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 2 month assignment, and earn a rate competitive within the industry. As a Financial Analyst your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Complete financial planning and reporting activities
• Perform financial analysis regarding trends, financial structure, asset, cash and liabilities, etc
• Analyse and monitor key performance indicators and business performance, and create regular reports to management
• May also perform and complete projects related to development of financial and controlling standards and guidelines
• Support risk management, treasury, M&A or tax aspects in order to manage the financial resources best.
• Carry out a range of operational tasks and project work in the area of expertise as assigned by superior

• Gain experience working for a globally recognized multinational organization
• Work full time hours on a short term assignment
• Earn a rate competitive within the industry (up to $28 per hour)
• Peterborough, ON location

• University degree in Business Administration Finance or Accounting, MBA or Master of Finance preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of relevant and progressive experience preferred, specifically in an accounting or financial analysis environment
• Knowledge of finance accounting principles
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports statements and projections
• Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting rolling budgets and business segment profitability analysis
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
