We have a great opportunity with one of our top tier clients who is looking for a financial analyst to join their team for an 8-month contract. Our client is located in Downtown Toronto. This candidate will be providing management updates on financial trends, budgets, variance analysis, assisting in a number of projects working closely with the sales/marketing/collections/IT to collect data and build various reports with guidance from senior management, forecasting, and ad hoc request. Job Responsibilities:

- Assist with the development of multi-year revenue
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting and business planning
- Experience with financial trends, investigate variances providing solutions to management
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to convey analysis
- Consolidating and preparing monthly reconciliations to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare invoices for outstanding fees owing
- Prepare journal entries and posting to the general ledger

Requirements:

-5+years of relevant experience
-Finance/Accounting degree required
-Strong Excel skills, coming with multiple large ERP's
-CPA is not required but an asset
