Responsibilities
In this Financial Analyst role located in Downtown Toronto, you be responsible for:
- Reviewing administration of purchase requests and accounting documents.
- Assist seniors in processing income statements, balance sheets, and financial statements.
- Complete reconciliation loan and bank accounts:
- Prepare journal entries and associated documentation
- Complete daily bank reporting and cash forecasting.
- Analyze and Investigate variances and proactively resolve issues
- Processing financial entries and ensuring ERP is up to date and accurate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to provide financial data and reports, along with supporting decision-making processes.
- Responsible for month-end entries, monthly management reports
- Responsible for monthly custom rebate calculations and submissions.
Qualifications
This Financial Analyst role located in Downtown Toronto requires the following:
- Minimum College degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Working towards a professional designation is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in finance and or accounting as an analyst.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as needed per discretion.
- Experience working with Accounting ERP like SAP
- Experienced working in financial services is a great asset.
- Must be able to commute to downtown Toronto and North York on the subway line.
