Job title: Financial Controller
Location: Montreal (hybrid)
Salary: Up to 130K depending on experience
Duration: 6 months, with strong possibility of permanence

Responsibilities
The financial controller will have the following responsibilities, among others:
- Manage monthly account closures and prepare financial statements on time;
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow management;
- Oversee audits and ensure compliance with regulations;
- Develop efficient financial procedures and assist with budget preparation;
- Ensure adherence to internal controls through regular checks and communication;
- Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions;
- Collaborate on financial strategies to enhance hotel performance;
- Monitor CAPEX and prepare related reports;
- Support grant applications and ensure proper fund allocation;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following qualifications for this financial controller position:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- CPA title or equivalent, a strong asset;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality sector;
- English-French bilingualism;
- Strong ability to collaborate with different key players, spread across multiple locations.
