We are seeking an experienced Finishing Superintendent to oversee interior finishing of a multi family residential project for a leading construction development client of ours in the Vancouver area.


-Daily supervision and coordination of the interior finishing subtrades
-Maintain daily and weekly schedule targets on a floor-by-floor basis
-Review drawings and submitals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary
-Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify that work is proceeding with the contract documents and the approved submitals
-Maintain the project "as-built" drawings on a daily basis
-Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts and warranties.
-Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work Prepares and completes daily job diaries
-Ensure site complies with the project Health & Safety Plan
-Monitor on site operations for quality compliance – ensure quality issues are being dealt with accordingly to established project processes.Provide leadership and general direction as required
-Mentoring/Coaching/supervising field operations
-Review circulation files and project email correspondence
-Attend weekly look-ahead schedules
-Review and assign action regarding formal and daily safety inspections
-Participate in Project Team meetings
-Perform a formal safety inspection
-Ensure all required monthly reporting is completed and submitted


-Minimum of 8+ years Multi-Family Residential Construction experience in a supervisory capacity
-Intermediate computer skills: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
