Randstad is now looking for a Foreman for an established Stone Masonry company based in beautiful Victoria BC! We are looking for someone that loves leading a team and has exceptional time management skills. This candidate plays an integral role in ensuring the completion of commercial and residential projects.

Opportunity: Full time, permanent position
Location: Victoria, BC
Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: $66-72 000 depending on experience
Start: As soon as possible

Qualifications and requirements:

• Valid drivers license class 1, 3 or 5
• 4- 7 years or more years experience laying brick or stone
• 2-3 years in the supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding and interpreting blueprints
• Knowledge of code and industry standards
• Must have current WHMIS and Fall Protection certification
• Knowledge of safety standards; ability to uphold safety standards and to do safety paperwork
• First aid CPR

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Ensure crew execute their work within the time frames and parameters
• Reading blueprints
• Ensure crew members work safely and efficiently
• Communicate daily - work progress, schedule variance, crew and safety
• Give daily guidance to the crews
• Meet and review any issues or items out of scope of work from either subs or crew and communicate to the superintendent.

•$66 000 - $72 000 depending on experience
•2-3 weeks’ vacation
•Benefits after 3 months
