    Our south Mississauga client is looking for a Forklift operator to work on their Production Line Worker to support their growing team. This is a global company, that specializes in the warehousing and distribution of "Green" Environmentally sustainable cleaning products.

    Company: Eco-Friendly Cleaning Product Manufacturer

    Job title: FORKLIFT OPERATOR Counterbalance and Reach

    Location: Ridgeway and Laird, Mississauga, ON

    Shift: 8 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

    Pay: $21/hr

    Employment: Full time


    Duties and responsibilities

    Accurately pick and package product for shipping
    Stage, load and unload product from various trucks and couriers
    Complete daily paperwork accurately, neatly and maintain records
    Experience with preparing shipping documentation
    Responsible for accurately receiving and moving materials to warehouse storage
    Responsible for quality control.
    Organizing and prioritizing orders to be picked and printing shipping documentation where required.
    Using software to generate documentation and shipping labels
    Understand the importance of inventory control and assist with cycle counts
    Operate reach and counterbalance forklift and stretch wrappers, frequent lifting of product up to 50 pounds
    Comfortable working with tools and machinery as some assembly work may be required
    Clean and maintain work and warehouse area

    What you will doing as a FORKLIFT Counterbalance and Reach operator in Mississauga:

    Qualifications

    - 1+ year of experience as Forklift operato
    - 1+ years of experience working as an order picker, shipper and receiver in a manufacturing company.
    - WHIMS and TDG knowledge and certification an asset
    - Third party Reach and Counter Balance certification
    - Detail oriented, can read and understand work orders and follow procedures
    - Inventory management experience is an asset
    - A self-starter capable of independent work but also work well in a team environment
    - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
    - Must have previous experience working with machinery, hand tools and have basic mechanical knowledge
