New Career Opportunity: Forklift Operator (Night Shift)

We are a growing logistics company based in Pointe-Claire (West Island of Montreal) that offers its employees: 3-day weekend, competitive wages, and eligibility to Randstad advantage program. A forklift assessment is required and will be performed on site.

What is the position?
We are looking for Forklift Operators in our warehouse. The forklift that will be used throughout the shift is the narrow-aisle reach and dock stocker.
The salary offered is: $20/hour
The hours: Monday - Thursday from 8pm-6am
Minimum contract of 6 months with 40 hours a week of work**

Requirements:
VALID FORKLIFT LICENSE
Minimum 3 months of experience operating a Forklift
Comfortable working with a RF Scanner
Experience with working in a fast-paced environment
Be familiar with repetitive tasks and standing throughout the shift
Available to work 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.
Must pass forklift assessment on-site
Attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Forklift duties: use of narrow-aisle reach and/or dock stocker to load and unload pallets, wrap pallets, order picking and transporting to specific areas of the warehouse, prepare orders for shipment, accurately organize and place items in the correct location.
Inventory Management - using an RF scanner and ensuring inventory accuracy
Shipping and receiving - helping prepare orders with supply levels and proper labels for accurate tracking
General Labour: comfortable with lifting boxes of no more than 50 pounds, building boxes if needed and maintaining a clean work site.
Location:
We are located in Pointe-Claire, Montreal, Quebec. We are on the Transcanada highway (40) with limited accessibility to public transportation. Private parking is available.
