Forklift Operator
Edmonton AB
$17.50/Hour

Are you an experienced forklift operator? Do you thrive in a busy distribution based environment? Are you an expert on a counterbalance forklift? If you answered yes to these questions, I urge you to read on to learn more about the role!

About the organization:
A very busy distribution facility in West Edmonton, where stock is constantly coming in and out. There are many forklifts in an around the area, and health & safety is of the utmost importance.

Duties include but not limited to:
Operation of counterbalance forklift
Working in a fast paced environment
Communicating effectively with team mates and supervisors
Consistent lifting up to 50lbs
Working on your feet up to 8 hours a day
Order picking, shipping and receiving duties may be involved
Working in a diverse team environment
Daily utilization of SAP

Advantages:
Starting wage of $17.50/hour
Great shift times! Monday to Friday
Benefits available after first pay
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Contract position with possibility for long term extension


Qualifications we would like to see:
At least 1 year experience on counterbalance forklift
An external forklift ticket (still valid)
At least 1 year experience in a warehouse setting
Shipping/receiving experience is an asset
Reliable transportation is a must, as this is not on a bus route
