Safely and efficiently pilot a counterbalanced fork life to move, load and unload materials in an automated manufacturing environment.
Conduct daily inspection of the forklift ensuring any safety concerns are reported promptly before operating the vehicle.
Manage pallets throughout the plant ensuring appropriate set up and packaging for shipment.
Diligently problem solve to ensure minimal material handling and ensure machines are supplied to run a peek capacities.
Independently and proactively empty scrap bins throughout the facility.
Follow all material handling policies and procedures ensuring material is stored efficiently to support production activities.
Assist with program changeovers providing assistance where necessary.
