Randstad is looking for a Bilingual Customer Accounts Specialist to work for a well known financial company in the Oakville area. This is an 8 month contract hybrid position, to find out more, read below:
Location: Oakville (Ford Dr and Royal Windsor Dr)
Annual salary $60,000 -$64,500 per year
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days at home

Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers in relation to their accounts, handling inbound calls, faxes, and emails.
- Collect outstanding amounts that are more than 30 days old in accordance with the Collection Guideline, while logging all contact made in the collection system.
- Resolve any disputes about amounts owed within agreed service levels, working with internal teams such as processing centers and sales.
- Regularly review accounts, provide status updates to the manager, and escalate any problem accounts as needed.
- Reconcile accounts to identify any discrepancies in payment or billing, refunding customers when necessary and recommending amounts for write-off.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external customers.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, able to convey information effectively and professionally
- College and/or university degree preferred, with accounting experience being an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar business-to-business collection role, with proven success in collecting outstanding payments
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player who can work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional customer service skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Quick learner with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines, with a results-oriented mindset.
