Responsibilities
- Manage First Nations Sales Team and oversee sales performance
- Providing sales quotes to customers including timely follow-ups
- Build new relationships and foster existing relationships between various Frist Nation communities while understanding customer needs
- Customer service, respond to inquiries from customers and distributors
- Create purchase orders and estmates
- Analyze vendor performance, inventory levels/counts, report to senior management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous purchasing experience in building materials or lumber is required
- Very organized, efficient and resourceful
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and problem solve
- Outstanding work ethic with a great sense of urgency
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Tech-savvy - good knowledge of MS Office products
- Must be available to travel up north to visit customers (4-6 times a year)
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle - the office is not on a reliable bus route
