Do you come from Reception experience or Office administration and are currently looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy working in a corporate office environment and being the first point of contact for an organization? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are hiring for a 6 month contract Front Desk Administrator that has a potential to become permanent. In this role, you will act as the company's first point of contact for visitors and guests who are meeting with consultants within the organization or calling in to be transferred, as well as supporting various departments with administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will be a highly energetic, fun-loving, and punctual individual with exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and an eagerness to support various teams with administrative duties.

Advantages
- $20 - $22/hr
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with a 30 min lunch from 11:30-12:00
- 6 month contract, with possibility for permanency
- Company run events (Ski trips, BBQs etc.)
- Once permanent:
- 3 weeks accrued vacation to start
- 80 hours of pay time off per year

Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Assisting guests with site safety procedures including sign-in and PPE requirements
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Screening calls where directed by specific individual, taking and forwarding messages as required, paging internally
- Assisting with special events and social activates as requested
- Working with various other departments with general administrative tasks as requested
- Back-Up Cafeteria Support during lunch hour including handling cash and cash register to ring in orders
Qualifications
- 1 year minimum experience with reception and/or administration
- Experienced with MS Office required
- Comfortable with advanced technology (eg. touch screen),
- Experience with multi-line phone systems is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- A drive to deliver exceptional customer service]
- Professional phone mannerisms and the ability to multitask
- Enjoys a team based approach to daily work
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and eagerness to help others
