Our Vancouver client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking to hire several Intermediate Full Stack Developers on a long term contract with high potential for extension. What will you do?
As an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with our Vancouver client, you will:
•Work closely with Business Analysts to understand the requirements and implement them.
•Manage entire software development life cycle, from build, deploy to on-going production support.
•Provide hands-on support for client and/or server side development.
•Provide technical development support and consultation to Technology Services and business units(s).
•Maintain expert knowledge in specialized systems or in multiple systems.
•Manage tasks within large or critical projects to assure objectives are met on time.
•Provide technical leadership and consultation to project team members.
•Prepare functional and detailed specifications for large systems.
•Guide planning, designing, programming, documentation and implementation of systems.
•Perform reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity and accomplishment of stated objectives.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Intermediate Full Stack Developer role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
•3-5 years’ relevant hands on technical experience on Java and Web 2.0 application development.
•Strong experience on client-side development (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
•Strong experience on server-side development (Java J2EE, Spring Framework).
•Good Knowledge of modern web-based technologies including JavaScript, ES6, JSON, Ajax.
•Familiarity in basic AWS services and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
•Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Git.
•Experience with software development patterns and best practices.
•Proven ability to write high quality, readable code.
•Strong communication skills and great team player.

What additional experience do you bring?
To be considered for the Intermediate Full Stack Developer role with our Vancouver client, it’s beneficial to have:
•Knowledge/experience with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, React JS, Node JS, NPM, Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Mule soft API Gateway and Services.
•Familiarity with App Dynamics, Splunk and Jira.
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with major or minor in Computer Science or related field.
