Looking to join an open concept and collaborative working environment in the heart of downtown Toronto? We are looking for a Java Developer to join our client who is an industry leader in their space.

This role is based in downtown Toronto, and with TTC at the its doorstep and walking distance from Union Station.

What you will be doing:

-Create real-time applications that are efficient, highly available, reliable, scalable, maintainable, extensible, and
testable
-Ensure the quality of the product through code reviews, unit and functional test coverage
-Ensure software adheres to company's high level of technical standards
-Communicate with business analysts and project managers to clarify requirements; work with a distributed team
-Highlight any potential risks to the Leads and seek inputs to resolve issues identified
-Experience with unit testing
-Mentoring less experienced developers
-Writing technical and system documentation
-Developing a great software product!

What you will need:

-5+ years of experience in JavaScript technologies such as Vue.js/AngularJS.
-5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring framework.
-3-5 years of software development experience preferably using agile methodologies;
-Experience in end-to-end development life-cycle and post-launch production support;
-Experience with iterative software development life-cycle methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, SCRUM,
Test Driven Development, etc.
