Responsibilities
Being a Game engine Backend Developer is:
To see the final product of your work in a concrete manner
To use the latest and greatest hardware in a PC rig of your dreams (GPU/CPU, etc.)
To create the HW solution used on all our visual systems
To get the opportunity to work at the lower level of the Unreal engine and Windows
(kernel, driver, framework)
The position we offer you:
Work in hybrid mode to validate and integrate different technologies
Use C++ in a Windows/DevOps environment using Visual Studio
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the client's software stack and software
development processes
Learn and grow in the highly technological world of visual systems and flight
simulators
Qualifications
The enthusiast candidate we are looking for has:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software or Computer engineering (or
equivalent);
New graduate or up-to 8-10 years of experience in Object Oriented development in
C++ under a Windows environment
Knowledge of the Unreal Engine
Knowledge of low level (system programming) under Windows
Experience in debugging/assembly of PC an asset
Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English
