We have a new opening for a mechanically inclined individual that can assist with some Install work on Garage Doors. We are looking for at least 2 years of experience with parking garage door work and someone who can work either on commercial or residential lots. In this role you would head out on daily calls with your team and assist with the full installation of parking gates. Our employees deal face to face with our customers and representatives and therefore must be able to interact in a positive and professional manner. This can be predominantly an outdoor job, so please ensure you have the proper weather gear. Shift: Days- Monday to Friday + OT offered (with premium $)
Time: Day Shift - Between 7:30AM-5:00PM depending on your calls that day
Salary: Determined based on experience/ up to $40/hr

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, Repair, Install and Maintain Garage Doors
- install and wire electric operators - including wiring & commissioning
- Ability to install rolling steel fire doors, coiling grilles and sectional doors or full view windows
- Ability to climb ladders, and assist in physical work such as lifting, climbing or carrying awkward shaped doors or equipment as needed.
- install sectional overhead gates in underground parking lots
- Follow our health and safety guidelines in house or on-site and report any issues that may arise professionally
- Responsible for reading blueprints & shop drawings.
Qualifications
- Enough experience to get started right away would be a huge asset
- Full License and Clean Drivers Abstract a MUST for company vehicle
- Understands Small Motors, and Gate operation and experience with installations
- No physical limitations and must be okay with some heights
- Can work in or outdoors in any weather, sometimes underground in garages
- Can read and follow floor plans and blueprints
- Located in the Port Coquitlam, BC area
