Your challenge!Cascades Enviropack division is expanding in the York, PA region. We are looking for exceptional and adaptable talent to join us to for phase 1 of the opening of the brand new manufacture.Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the material handler will ensure that products and raw materials are packaged, transported, stored, recorded and loaded properly by following the standardized operating procedures. Forklift certification is required for this position. Your responsibilitiesMonitor the production line, watching for problems. Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas.Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Load materials and products into package processing equipment.Record product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records.Count products and materials.Remove completed materials, place them on conveyors or pallets.Band and wrap finished productAssist the operator in machine setupsEnsure all functions are accomplished safely and correctly by following the standardized operating procedures.Support the Safety rules, as well as all other company policies and programs. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, shoveling and sweeping.
