General labour - machining

SALARY: $18.75 per hour
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 6:50AM to 3:50PM (Fridays 6:50AM to 12:50PM)
POSITION TYPE: Full time

Responsibilities
- proceed with the machining of the parts as shown on the technical drawings;
- drill, sand, cut or thread parts;
- assembling the parts manually and/or using mechanical tools;
- check the quality of the parts according to the standards and specifications of the product;
- notify and take note of machine downtime;
- be proactive in matters of occupational health and safety;
- be responsible for cleaning equipment;
- keep the premises clean and safe;
- make a daily report to the supervisor.

Qualifications
- Having 6 months of experience as a machine operator or in a similar warehouse role an asset;
- Have boots with steel caps;
- Be able to frequently lift, push and pull loads of 25 to 50 pounds.
