job description

Randstand is currently hiring for General labourer/ packer for a global leader in the snack food industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with rotating shift (Days/Afternoons AND Afternoons/Nights). There are NO straight shifts!!!!! Must be able to work week-ends and week-days! 12 hour shifts on week-ends!

Location- Main St. and Ewen Rd, Hamilton
Pay Rate: $14 per hour

Shifts:
12 hour continental shift rotation that switches from days-nights-days-nights. Shifts start at either 7AM or 7PM, and end at 7AM or 7PM.

Week 1:

Sun - Off
Monday - 7AM to 7PM
Tuesday - 7AM to 7PM
Wed - Off
Thurs - Off
Fri - 7PM to 7AM
Sat - 7PM to 7AM

Week 2:
Sun- 7PM to 7AM
Mon- Off
Tues- Off
Wed- 7AM to 7PM
Thurs- 7AM to 7PM
Fri- Off
Sat-Off

- Packaging candy
- Line work - sorting/mixing candy
- Quality control - checking to ensure candy is right colour/consistency
- Lifting bins of candy and emptying them onto the production line
- Lifting up to 20lbs

Qualifications
- ability to lift 20lbs
- must have general labour experience (includes working as a grocery stocker, lawn labourer, anything semi intensive)
