    Do you have experience using hand, air, or power tools? Do you have a good mechanical aptitude? Are you comfortable working mostly outside in a yard setting? Are you looking for a great long term opportunity in Uxbridge? Do you have a willingness to learn, and consider yourself reliable?

    If you answered yes to any of these questions, a temporary to permanent full-time position with our busy client in Uxbridge might be for you!

    We are looking for eager, reliable individuals to join this growing team! Experience with tools is preferred, but not required. If you're willing to learn and put in the effort, this awesome company will provide you with all the training you need to start a new, long-term career with great benefits!

    Advantages
    -Job will turn permanent for the right candidate after approximately 3 months
    -Starting rate of $20 per hour, bumped up to $23 per hour after 3 months, once brought on permanently
    -Full benefits after 3 months
    -All PPE and gear are provided to you other than safety boots


    Responsibilities
    -Using hand, air, and power tools to dismantle industrial transformers
    -Processing scrap metal once transformers are dismantled
    -Moving dismantled metal around the site for storage
    -Loading metal for shipping
    -Prepping work site and clean-up after the job is finished
    -Other general labour tasks as assigned

    Qualifications
    -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
    -Must be safety conscious at all times
    -Must be RELIABLE and punctual
    -Experience with hand, air, and power tools is an asset but not required
    -Experience working with metal an asset but not required
    -Experience working in a shop/manufacturing/yard environment is an asset but not required
    -WILLINGNESS TO LEARN if coming in without related experience
