We are currently hiring General Labourers for a manufacturing company in the Hamilton area that manufactures industrial conveyor parts.
They are looking for competent motivated individuals to be an asset to their team and enjoy working with their hands. You will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks from the assembly, and painting, welding to operating presses.

• Straight day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Monday to Friday
• On a bus route
• $17-20 an hour depending on experience
• Long-term opportunity to potentially be hired permanently
Responsibilities
Perform different tasks depending on what is required but not limited to the list below:
- Comfortable lifting 50-60 lbs and being able to do so repetitively.
- Basic General labour tasks in a manufacturing environment (greasing parts, painting, etc).
- Assembly of the product.
- Building skids.
- Preparing products for shipments
- Able to safely use presses to make a high volume of parts.
- Assisting in the welding department with welding shafts or fabricating other products.
- Operating counterbalance forklifts.
Qualifications
Qualification / Certificates:
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience
- Working with hand and power tools
- Working in a metal fabrication shop
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read metrics
- Valid external forklift license is an asset
