Position: General Labour/Assembler
Location: Keele st. & Lawrence Ave. (North York)
Shifts:
Afternoons 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday - Thursday
Fridays the shift if 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Two weeks of training on day shift are required before the shifts will switch to afternoons
Pay rate: $18 - $21/hr (depending on previous skills and certifications)

Responsibilities
-Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the production facility
-Use mechanical equipment to unload, move, store, pick and stage stone materials
-Operate diesel powered forklifts, pump trucks, A-frame buggies and Overhead cranes with various attachments
-Use automated, mechanical, and manual equipment to fabricate various stone and engineered products such as:
-Air and electrically powered hand grinders and saws, automated CNC Saws, CNC Routers and water jets, sandpaper and resin polishing pads, drills, oscillators, and other power tools
-Work to the quality standard set out by the production and assistant production managers
-Perform other various duties based on company needs and workload
Qualifications
-Must have steel toed safety boots
-Quick learner and a team player
-Previous experience working with stone and marble an asset
-Able to lift up to 100lbs with assistance
-Forklift or Overhead crane operator experience or willingness to learn on the job
-Experienced with hand and power tools
-Previous polishing/cutting experience is an asset
-Strong attention to detail with good basic math skills
-Experience with automated, mechanical, and manual equipment to fabricate various stone products
