As a Warehouse Laborer in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, you play a key support role for our Tire Loading and Warehouse teams, helping to ensure daily shipping requirements are met while maintaining high levels of quality in a safe and effective manner! Warehouse Laborer's are trained to be back up Tire Loaders in addition to their support functions, so this is considered to be a physically demanding role. If you can repetitively lift 50+ pounds, and are a motivated self-starter that enjoys working in a fast paced environment, then a role as a Warehouse Laborer might be the opportunity for you!
Location: Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Shift Schedule: Full-Time, Rotational day shifts (5am-5:30pm, Monday to Sunday)

Responsibilities
• Manually loading tires onto a conveyor belt
• Repetitive Lifting up to 55lbs
• Operating powered industrial vehicles (walkie stacker/forklift)
• Accurate recording of data (tire load sheets, shipping logs)
• Off-loading tires from conveyor belt into shipping trailer.
• Operating conveyor belt.
• Keeping loading bay + areas clean
• Inspecting tires loads for quality errors
• Maintaining a safe + clean work environment
• Tagging/labelling products
• Recording production + quality numbers
•Basic data entry and paperwork
• Inspecting product for possible defects
• Maintaining a safe, clean work environment
• Communicating with team members
Qualifications
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs for entire shift- MUST HAVE
• Safety oriented with the ability to comply with all safety regulations
• Eye for detail, ability to spot nonconforming product/quality discrepancies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team based environment
• Comfortable working in a standing position
• Highly motivated
• Reliable
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• 2 supervisor references
