The successful candidate will promote our geotechnical engineering teams with clients in different areas such as infrastructure, mining, oil & gas industries – to name a few. This role will be a mix of field and corporate engineering - travel is required.

Responsibilities
· Working as part of an interdisciplinary team to execute geotechnical projects
· Preparing technical reports, project scheduling & resourcing, meeting project deadlines and budgets
· Involvement in business development activities and participating in bidding process & proposal writing
· Establishing, developing, promoting, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
· Leading the geotechnical field investigations, piling testing and construction QA/QC
· Be involved in multi-discipline projects in the areas of geotechnical design for foundations, retaining & shoring systems, mining facilities, slope stabilization, roads, and other linear infrastructures
· Fostering a culture of safe work practices
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
· Minimum 10 years’ geotechnical engineering experience
· Must be registered with APEGA or EGBC as a E.I.T.
· Strong computer skills and familiar with several geotechnical software programs including Slope-W, Sigma-W, Seep-W, Slide, Settle-3D, L-Pile, A-Pile, Civil 3D knowledge with AutoCAD
· Experience with pile testing (PDA, CSL and PIT) would be an asset
· Able to write and speak compellingly on both technical & non-technical topics
· Business Acumen along with strong communication skills
