    Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Representative to join their team. If you have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment or/and in the construction environment as a Health and Safety representative please feel free to submit your resume.

    This is an onsite position located in Peterborough.

    Responsibilities
    You will be responsible for investigating accidents and dealing with the MOL accordingly. As a part of your job you will be required to onboard new hires and train them to ensure that health and safety is being followed across the region. You will be assigned to audit and inspect the different working locations to ensure that everything is being followed according to company policies. If you have prior experience working with unions, that would be a bonus!

    Qualifications
    Post secondary education in Health and Safety
    CRSP- Canadian Registered Safety Professional certification is an asset
    Valid Drives license
    Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Health and Safety representative
    Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
