HSE Specialist

Are you looking to join an International industry leader supporting the automobile and light truck manufacturing throughout Canada, the US and Japan?

Do you have exceptional and effective communication, organizational, multitasking and problem solving skills?

If so, this position may be for you!

Our client just EAST OF LONDON, is looking for an Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join their team.

In this role you will;

• Assist in the improvement & development of management system procedures and forms, in line with applicable standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001)
• Create training materials in support of new procedures
• Coordinate and participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committees
• Participate in safety audits
• Assist with WSIB claims management and return to work planning

You are an ideal candidate because you bring;

• 1-5 years working in the health and safety field, preferably manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ergonomic principles and ability to apply principles in a wide range of work environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and WSIB Regulations
• Experience in industrial ergonomic assessments
• Experience conducting Physical Demands Analysis (PDAs)
