A large healthcare provider in Toronto is looking for an experienced Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join their team. The Healthcare Administrative Assistant is the glue that holds the team together, acting as the key support to senior staff in a medical specialty department.
Playing an essential role in administering calendar management and making arrangements for staff meetings, the Healthcare Administrative Assistant will have the chance to work on a variety of tasks - every day is different! This role is a perfect fit for someone who loves multi-tasking and being at the centre of the action in a busy healthcare environment.
This is a full-time 1-month contract role with a possibility for extension! We are looking for individuals in the Toronto area with availability to start full time immediately.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing as a Healthcare Administrative Assistant:
- Managing calendar and scheduling meetings for clinical leadership team
- Managing audiovisual arrangements and minute-taking for team meetings
- Creating reports and presentations
- Using interpersonal skills to build quality working relationships with leadership team and support staff
- Adapting to and anticipating changing priorities
- Assisting with department accounting duties including payroll
Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Healthcare Administrative Assistant:
- 1-2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment
- Excellent calendar management and organizational skills
- Tech savvy and proficient in MS Office, familiar with calendar management in Outlook
- Excellent time management skills - you are a prioritization wizard!
- Detail-oriented and conscientious
- Able to work both in a team and independently with minimal supervision
