We have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician. If you enjoy inspecting and diagnosing equipment to identify maintenance or repairs than this is the role for you.

You would be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of a large range of crushing and screening equipment throughout Ontario.

What will you be doing?
- Inspect and ensure equipment is operational and maintained for client use
- Diagnose and troubleshoot on-site repairs across Ontario
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Communicate with shop supervisor, and other technicians to ensure repairs are complete & on-time
- Maintain a clean work environment/vehicle and abide by all safety protocols
- Some welding required

- Shift: typically 7am-5pm – could change depending on the business demands

What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of experience as a field mechanic
- Basic welding abilities
- Experience working with heavy equipment repairs
- Mechanical & Diesel engine diagnostics is an asset
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to read schematics, drawings and technical bulletins
- Willing to travel across Ontario (could sometimes be away for days at a time)
- Must have a valid license & clean driver's abstract
