Heavy Equipment Operator and Yard Attendant - contract

My client is looking for someone who is a team player driven and loves to work in a physical environment

The chosen candidate must be ready to work outdoors 90 percent of the time, but will have a designated office to do all needed paperwork and order entry

Start date ASAP

The rate is 24 to 26/hr

Monday to Friday – 7 am – 4 pm

Responsibilities
Drive a forklift in the yard
Load and unload materials from the truck to the locations in the yard
Material handling
Operate other machinery if needed
Ensure that the yard is kept clean and well maintained
During the winter the chosen person must assist in clearing up the snow
Organize all material and load
Take note of inventory


Qualifications
Must be able to operate heavy equipment and machinery
General labour experience Is a must
Must be open to working outdoors 90 percent of the time
Must be able to handle heavier loads and materials
Experience working with heavy equipment, machinery and construction is an asset
Comfortable working with computers and using computer databases
Must be able to work with a team
