Position : Heavy Equipment Service Technician
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm (flexible)
Salary : $35-$40/hour
Overtime: after 44 hours
Vacation: 3 weeks

Do you have experience working as a field technician? Are you comfortable maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing diesel heavy equipment? Have you worked on large lifts previously? Advantages
•Salary : $35-$40/hour

•Permanent full-time work
•Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm (flexible)
•Work vehicle, gas cards, cell phone and laptop provided on day 1
•$500 annual tool allowance
•$150 annual boot allowance

Responsibilities
•Safely inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment
•Clearly communicate issues with clients and provide an accurate timeline for conducting repairs
•Complete service records and warranty information as per procedures
•Participate in manufacturer and company training as required
•Participate in on call rotation as needed, based on client demands
•Keep Branch Manager informed of service calls and requirements
Qualifications
•Related trade certificate, Journeyman/Red Seal designation or 4-5th year apprentice
•Minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical, hydraulics and electrical systems on heavy equipment, gas and diesel engines
•Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical exam and drug test and a clean driving abstract as a conditions of hire
•Ability to travel throughout the Province of Ontario on rare occasion
•Strong customer service experience and communication skills
