Location: Mainway / Corporate Dr., Burlington
Shift:
Days 6AM - 2:15PM, Monday to Friday
OR Afternoons 2:15PM - 12:30AM, Monday to Thursday
Pay rate: $21 per hour
*plus afternoon shift premium $1.20/HR

Afternoon shift. Currently 4 x 10 hrs + 8 hrs Friday(overtime)
Job progression includes Back End/Bander and Set-up operator
Responsibilities
-Ensuring proper packaging of material including tagging coils/skidded slits and strapping/stacking slits. This will entail checking the Production Orders for the instructions whether to use tape or banding to secure the cuts as well as determining the number of each necessary for safe packages.
-Inspect the material for potential quality issues for slitting defects and report concerns promptly
-Correctly weighing of material and inputting that information into computer.
-Ensure stickers are on appropriate cuts.
-Ensure amount of coils going on skids is correct as per the order including weight and lift requirements
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
The individual should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all safety requirements. The work assigned must be completed correctly and in a timely manner. The individual must physically be able to lift materials up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
High School or equivalent job experience
Safety aware and abide by health and safety
Must be able to read Standard/Metric measuring tape
Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations of standard/metric measurements
