What you’ll be doing?
As a Help Desk/Systems Technician with our Vancouver client, you will:
• Provide network, server, desktop and laptop support (onsite and remote).
• Provide support for hosted and cloud services.
• Respond to service desk support tickets and emails.
• Deploy and manage remote management and monitoring (RMM) system for ongoing server and workstation maintenance.
• Install and configure new endpoints, including workstations and laptops.
• Support and administer Office 365 exchange services, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Maintain and troubleshoot issues generated from Alert tickets for servers, backup jobs and cloud services.
• Participate in Weekly Tech meetings to discuss and respond to bigger technical / administrative issues.
• Engage in some Project work for learning opportunities with new technologies.
• Ensure all work and time entries are properly documented into tickets in real time.
• Maintain good documentation for network-related changes and software information.
• Participate in periodic off-hours maintenances and in on-call rotation.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Help Desk/Systems Technician role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
• 3-5 years’ experience providing IT support onsite and remotely in pure and hybrid (Windows/Mac/Linux) environments.
• Experience using ConnectWise Manage or Autodesk, highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of core Microsoft products: Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, Terminal Services and Office 365.
• Experience with backup products (Veeam, StorageCraft, Symantec etc.).
• Experience with business-level network gear (Cisco, SonicWall, and Ubiquiti).
• Experience with troubleshooting Line of Business applications (QuickBooks, Sage 50 etc.).
• Experience with installing and administering Antivirus solutions.
• Experience with utilizing Remote Monitoring tools (N-Central RMM, LogMeIn etc.).
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware-related issues with workstations and laptops.
• Networking skills including troubleshooting and basic administration.
• Great people skills and English fluency required.
• Active Class 5 BC Drivers' License required.

What additional experience do you bring?
To be considered for the Help Desk/Systems Technician role with our Vancouver client, it’s beneficial to have:
• Managed Services (MSP) or IT company background preferred.
• Linux/Mac experience a great asset.
• Certifications such as MCSE or VCP are an asset.
