7AM – 4PM Mon-Fri
Overtime on Saturdays
Location: Dundas and Shaver Ave South (Etobicoke)
Salary: $49,920 (based on experience)

Responsibilities
What will you be responsible for as a Holt Melt Operator:
- Ensure production schedule is adhered to by organizing and leading workflow in the department
- Ensuring quality and safety requirements are followed
- Organize and maintain the department to achieve a safe and efficient workplace
- Load and unload chemicals into mixing vessels using best safety practices
- Operate processing equipment according to the organization's quality and safety requirements
- Prepare batches for processing according to batch sheet requirements
- Material handling, machine setup, changeovers
- Inspect and perform quality check and inspections
- Maintain processing equipment as required
- Troubleshoot issues on machinery and equipment when required
- Operate forklift (counterbalance)
- Clean and organize necessary areas (including equipment)
- Perform inventory count duties
- Assist other departments as required
Qualifications
Do you have the skills as a Hot Melt Operator:
- Previous batch mixing experience is an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift operator certificate (counterbalance)
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate, understand and execute written and verbal instructions.
