Any experience melting solids with designated melting chemicals, using hot plates, and ensuring that materials are not overheated is an asset .
Location : Shorncliffe Rd, Etobicoke
Shift : 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $45,000-$50,00 Depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Ensure production schedule is adhered to by organizing and leading workflow in department ensuring their quality and safety requirements are followed.
- Organize and maintain the department to achieve a safe and efficient workplace.
- Manufacture Hot Melt products according to the organization's quality and safety requirements.
- Load and unload chemicals into mixing vessels using best safety practices.
- Operate processing equipment according to the organization's quality and safety requirements.
- Prepare batches for processing according to batch sheet requirements.
- Maintain processing equipment as required.
- Operate forklift.
- Inform Production Supervisor or Plant Operations Manager of any raw materials or supplies needed.
- Clean and organize necessary areas (including equipment).
- Perform inventory count duties.
- Perform Production Assistant duties as required.
- Assist other departments as required.
Qualifications
- Forklift operator certificate
- Basic math skills.
- WHMIS trained.
-Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably chemical related.
- Ability to interact and work with others in a productive and professional manner.
- Ability to communicate, understand and execute written and verbal instructions.
-Batch mixer experience ( asset )
