Responsibilities
Provides coordination support for meetings with external vendors, such as booking meeting rooms, taking minutes, and completing post-meeting tasks.
• Manages and maintains tools and toolkits to assist partner organizations in assessing their IT environments.
• Identifies internal resources that can benefit the non-profit (NP) and co-op housing sector and manages applicable projects.
• Collects relevant data and prepares documents and summaries for review, analysis, and recommendation by the Director and/or CIO.
• Assists with organizing events to deliver the training plan, including logistics coordination, venue arrangements, and material preparation.
• Conducts research and evaluates new technologies, develops proposals for purchase, and coordinates the procurement process to provide goods and services to Housing Providers.
• Researches and reviews consultants and vendors for non-profit societies to expand the current roster list.
• Capable of wiping and resetting devices to factory settings for deployment in the sector.
• Generates and documents Dynamics cases on behalf of HP Tech.
• Aids in delivering group training, both in person and remotely.
• Proactively monitors HP Tech inbox and team requests.
• Documents current procedures and policies.
• Collaborates with non-profit societies to ensure that PartnerHub elements are accurate and timely.
• Manages inventory of computer hardware and software assets.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications:
• Proficient computer skills and expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Results-oriented with excellent people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and goal-driven
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, other internal departments, and vendors
Desirable qualifications:
• Prior experience in creating training materials and conducting live sessions
• Familiarity with Articulate 360 and RISE, including the ability to create and modify video modules
• Experience in the public sector will be given preference.
Summary
The position involves screening requests received by the team and assisting with the coordination of follow-up steps, such as scheduling virtual meetings, liaising with third-party vendors, and alerting the VP of IMT. The role also assists in addressing one of the areas of feedback requested from non-profits as part of an internal program called PartnerHub, including developing recommendations, creating training packages, and outlining best practices. In addition, the position oversees training programs, arranges educational events for NPs, and supports internal activities for the HP Tech team.
