We are seeking a bold and structured HR Advisor. This is not just an operational role: it is a rare mentorship and development opportunity designed to help you evolve within the HR department over the long term.
If you have 2 to 5 years of experience, possess drive, and are looking for an environment where you can build, structure, and grow alongside the business, this role is for you.
The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager and the HR Director, you will be the central point of contact for all HR matters. You will navigate between the plant floor and the administrative offices.
Your immediate mandate will be to:
Ensure the stability of the department.
Modernize performance management practices.
Support managers during a period of rapid growth.
You will not be alone: You will collaborate with an HR Technician (payroll/admin) and oversee the strategies of a dedicated Recruiter.
Advantages
Competitive Salary: $80,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Your role will be hybrid: 50% operational/hands-on and 50% advisory/strategic.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering: Act as a coach and key resource for the leadership team and managers regarding workforce planning, work organization, and the resolution of daily issues.
Organizational Development: Spearhead the comprehensive revision and implementation of structures for performance evaluation, recognition, and skills development.
Employee Relations: Manage disciplinary matters and employee relations with rigor, confidentiality, and fairness, while preserving the existing positive work environment.
Health & Safety (OHS): Act as the internal point of reference (CNESST), manage disability/accident claims, and lead the OHS committee.
Optimization: Design and update internal policies and drive continuous improvement projects (digital tools, employee experience).
Recruitment Support: Guide and oversee the recruiter’s strategy for high-volume roles and take charge of the advisory aspect for executive and professional hiring.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of generalist experience (experience in a manufacturing environment or a high-growth SME is a major asset).
Soft Skills: Dynamic, energetic, and proactive personality. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment where decisions are made quickly.
Hands-on Approach: Comfortable interacting with both plant floor operators and senior management.
Communication: Bilingual (French and English) is required, as you will need to communicate with stakeholders from other provinces.
Asset: Knowledge of "Employeur D" software.
