Are you looking to gain HR experience within the Finance Industry? Are you a professional candidate with over 1 year of administrative experience? Our client, a leading bank, is seeking an HR Business Coordinator for a 12 month assignment in Downtown Toronto!

Pay: $20.00/hr
Hours: Mon- Fri 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

As an HR Business Coordinator your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver Legendary service experiences consistent with the bank culture
- HR policy and procedure guidance and problem solving
- Act as a point of contact for HR Community and People Managers
- Lead escalations while coordinating between HR business units
- Review and support Employee Change requests
- Answer calls and email inquiries on how to process Employee Change requests
- Assist with payroll, benefits and vacation related inquiries and assist with bringing it to resolution
- Action requests being triaged from other areas within HR ie. HR Contact Center
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, efficiency and participate in the implementation
- Provide guidance and support with various administrative tasks

Qualifications
Must have:
- Flexible to changing needs of the dept.
- Strong MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills and at ease in a professional, executive env.
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as a contributing member of the team
- 1 year data entry
- 1 year previous admin or clerical experience
- 1 year strong analytical and problem solving skills

Nice to have:
- Banking knowledge
- French
- Knowledge of the VIP system (HR computer system)
