Are you an HR generalist with at least 5 years of experience in the field? Do you enjoy working with people and have worked in a generalist role recently? Do you have experience in the manufacturing industry and understand their specialized needs? Are you able to travel within Canada multiple times in a year? Please apply today!

The HR Generalist is responsible for:

> The recruitment process of office employees and field staff, from creating requisitions to hire, job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, participating in interviews, checking references, verifying background checks, and preparing offer letters for successful candidates.
> Participate in the development and implementation of new and existing recruitment initiatives such as career fairs, targeted advertising, utilization of agencies etc. to maximize the pool of potential candidates.
> Provide day-to-day operational problem solving and tactical advice to line Managers.
> Strategize and find solutions with Managers on Performance improvement.
> Conduct new hire orientations.
> Assist with any inquiries regarding benefits, immigration and learning & development.
> Participate in national HR Special projects as needed
> All administration related to HR Processes

> At least 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist
> Relevant University Degree or Diploma
> Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation preferred but not required
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
> Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
> Ability to travel to branches as required (up to 30% of the time)
> Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry is a strong asset
> Experience with SAP is considered an asset
> Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
> Strong MS office skills
> Must be familiar with the labour standard within Saskatchewan and Manitoba
